DAMMIT LOLA is an over-the-top-DIY-crafty-punk-political-comedy ensemble who use humor to survive the political hell hole that is Texas. This summer you can find us performing live on comedy stages all over Austin and starting in September folks can watch us on YouTube! There we will continue to dismantle those in power using our bad wigs and absurd characters but with the additional magic of green screen. We will have News Desk Take Downs, Mockeries, Faux-Mercials, Games, Dope Hits, and Mini Revolts.

Join us as we Texify and Queerify the political comedy space before we all get sent to jail.

Follow us on IG @dammitlola_tx to stay up to date on all our shows!
Meet all the funny folks writing, performing, and helping behind the scenes at Dammit Lola.
ENSEMBLE
April Ritzenthaler
April's been in the performing arts in one way or another her whole life. From ballet to belly and piano to choir she's passionate about the healing power of sound and movement. Professionally she's a ceremonialist, a bodyworker, and a bookkeeper, and was one of the founders of Texas Roller Derby in 2001. She screamed her rage into motion with the help of 1000's of her closest friends on skates, and is now learning a gentler way to express herself through Clown.
Caroline Penca
Caroline is a woman living in Texas, which is somehow still legal.
Carolyn Kelleher
Carolyn Kelleher (she/her) is a writer-director-producer-comedian-and-self-proclaimed-multi-hyphenate in Austin, Texas. Carolyn multi-hyphens Hysteria, a variety show about bodily autonomy benefiting abortion access and gender-affirming care for Texans. She is the Creative Director of Austin Sketch Fest and regularly performs stand up and improv comedy with troupes Folxxx and (B Iden Payne nominated) Mother Wound.
